This University Microcredential goes deeper into the concepts and methodologies applied to manage the quality of port waters, taking as a reference the ROM 5.1, the technical standard adopted by the Spanish port sector for the emissions produced in its environment, and introducing other complementary techniques that allow assessing the environmental risks associated with different types of port facilities (commercial ports, marinas, fishing ports) and different types of pollutant emissions (e.g. accidental spills, ballast water).
